Mortimer-English Club continues to expand

The Mortimer-English Club’s first master franchisee began work in Bavaria in March 2007 . Just two months later the network had signed its second master franchise agreement – proof that the successful Mortimer-English Club concept is steadily growing.

Ms Ursula Zebib from Laupheim and Mr Alan Grice from Isny – who had both previously worked as Mortimer franchisees – have now been master franchisees for the Baden-Württemberg region since May. Their new head office is based in Isny in the Allgäu from where the Mortimer franchise network in the area will be built up and run.

In 1995, Karola Scheer and Jürgen Nauditt founded the Mortimer-English Club in which children aged 2 or more and adults of all ages are given the opportunity to learn English in a fun atmosphere. The network uses its own specially developed class material, exercises, grammar and role play games making learning English a completely new experience for young and old.

The first Mortimer-English Club franchisee was trained in Herscheid in 1999 . Today, only eight years later, Mortimer-English Club has a network of over 220 franchisees and two master franchisees making it one of the largest businesses within its branch.
