German industry turning more and more to franchising
According to reports in the media, German industrial
companies are looking more and more to becoming active themselves as retailers.
To achieve this, many are choosing franchising as the means to increase sales,
to win over new customers and to provide better customer care. Examples of this
trend include franchise systems such as "Point of Colour" run by the Degussa
subsidiary, Relius, Deichmann, Montblanc and the Volkswagen system "Stop+go".
