Five Star Painting paints an Air Force Plane
According to a report published on the website, www.pr.com, Bryan Buzon, a Five Star Painting franchisee from Charleston was recently contracted to help restore a 1950’s C-121C.
The Air Force transport plane nicknamed "Super Constellation" is now located at the Charleston Air Force Base Aviation Museum. The historic restoration of the plane included stripping dozens of decals off the plane, documenting where they were, cleaning the plane, hand scraping loose paint, sanding rough edges, and priming any bare metal. Five Star Painting teamed up with Rock Creek Craftsman to replace all the decals on the plane.
Scott Abbott, CEO of Five Star Painting, commented, “We are excited to have Bryan Buzon complete such a historic project. He is great at what he does in this industry and understands the importance of quality service.”
Formed in 2001 and franchising since 2005, Utah-based Five Star Painting Inc. has more than 50 franchises in North America, with operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. (kbp)
