Build-A-Bear Workshop® searches once again for its Huggable Heroes
For the fifth year running, Build-A-Bear Workshop® has announced that it has
launched its campaign to find its Huggable Heroes for 2008. The programme aims
to find and honour young people who have undertaken something to make the world
a better place.
According to information provided by the company, a Huggable Hero is any young person, 18 years of age and younger, who is making a positive difference in their communities or around the world. Nominations will be accepted from now on until 8th February 2008 and anyone may submit a nomination including the young people themselves.
The franchise network, Build-A-Bear Workshop®, will be honouring 12 Huggable Heroes: seven from the United States and Puerto Rico, two from the United Kingdom and Ireland, two from Canada and one from France. Nomination forms are available at any Build-A-Bear Workshop® store or online at www.buildabear.com.
Build-A-Bear Workshop®, is, it says, the only global company that offers an interactive make-your-own stuffed animal retail-entertainment experience. Founded in the USA in 1997, the company currently operates more than 300 stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France as well as franchise stores in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
